Writing Essays 2

Today we finished or almost finished our or almost finished our essay we have to write for tomorrow.  This is the rest from yesterday that I have  Russia   is a country where they have  many different  things  going for them. They have a very low birth rate so there  are  rarely people having babies which will  drop the population tremendously  so for the future even though they have a very high population will probably drop in the next decade.  Russia is also not  a very  nice country to immigrate to cause the government  has long term migration that Russia still haven't dealt with.  We also must consider the fact that most migrants have no access to social services and benefits in Russia, excluding a small group with permanent residence permits.   Finally, what the leader can do is make it easier to adapt to migrating to Russia and persuade people to have more ba bies.  Therefore, the last country was talking about is Spain this country is a low population because many things cau

Writing essays

Today we were writing essays for the exam we have on Friday where we have to write a whole 5 page essay on the topic we chose. This is what I have wrote so far,  For this essay I have chosen Egypt,  Mexico ,  and Russia which as we know has many  different  backgrounds  that  are good and bad.  These countries all deal with population  problems  and  migration problems due to war, poverty, and even  religious persecution.  Even though they have these things there is still good things that come out of living in these places.  Also, what their leaders need to do about these  problems and how they  can  fix them.   So, let's talk about  Mexico ,  Mexico  is a country that doesn’t really have a population growth which makes the countr y skyrocket in their population. They have a stable population of people but the real question many people want to go somewhere else rather  than   stay .  In Mexico there is one of the highest drug  countries   in the whole world. Which means there is wa

Test Day

Today in class we took a test on the things we have been learning for the past couple days. I thought I did pretty decent even though I know I got two wrong. Like the question where it talked about the one where they said there was 67,000 people born every 7 hours and I put khan academy even though it was Kim that said it. I also know I got wrong was the one where you had to tell whether the equation was wrong and how to change the words to get the right equation and the answer had to do with migration cause it talked about the population growth rate. I also thought I was gonna get the first questions wrong but I switched one and three around and ended up getting them right when we went over the answer at the end of the quiz. Finally, I hoped that I did good on that test cause that would bring me up cause right now I'm just at an A.

Review for test 2

Today we reviewed the different test questions that actually might be on the test. Like we talked mostly about the graphs being on the test like the different stages and how they affect the population when it comes to the different countries. We also talked about how on the graph there was the different stages and like how there crude birth and crude death rates effected the natural increase rate like stage three where the crude birth rate is falling and the crude death rate is falling more slowly than stage two. We also talked about how the  industrial revolution which caused more jobs and more economy that was introduced in the mid 1800s and is in full swing even today with all the factories. we have today. Finally, we last talked about the different countries that are growing in population and will keep rising due to things like immigration and even the industrial revolution for some countries.

Review for test

Today we watched a video on the different stages on demographic transitions. We also had to draw a picture of the graph showing the different increases and decreases from the crude birth and death rates. Fro example at stage two the birth rate was at a high and the death rate was falling rapidly which meant the natural increase rate was at a very rapid increase. This happened because they brought the industrial revolution which caused more jobs and more economy so that people had more money so they could afford kids. Also, as I said before it caused major improvements in manufacturing goods and delivering them to the market. Stage two people didn't have good healthcare so they introduced the medical revolution which caused more people to live to a longer age and the population to go up in stage three. Finally, the video had talked about things that change the population like fertility rate and things like that we already know.

Demographic transition 2

Today in class we talked about the paper we had read and took notes on last class. We talked about all the different stages like 1 all the way up to five. Where one is the worst like more people were dying than they are being born and that caused the natural increase rate to go down. Then we talked about how they brought the industrial revolution which caused more jobs and more economy so that people had more money so they could afford kids. Also, as I said before it caused major improvements in manufacturing goods and delivering them to the market. Then we talked about how in the Stage two people didn't have good healthcare so they introduced the medical revolution which caused more people to live to a longer age and the population to go up. Finally, we talked about the fourth and fifth stage of the demographic transition being the best cause we have all the things that can help us grow our economy more and live a lot longer than before.

Demographic transition

Today we learned about the Demographic Transition. Demographic transition is a process of change in a society population from high crude birth and death rates and low rate of natural increase to a condition of low crude birth and death rates, low rate of natural increase, and higher total population. Demographic transition helps us understand the differences between NIR, CBR, and CDR. I learned that every nation has gone to a stage two which means there are high CBR, rapidly declining CDR, and very high NIR. During this time in 1750, industrial revolution came and there. was major improvements in manufacturing goods and delivering them to the market. The medical revolution caused many countries such as Mexico to go to stage on to stage 2 because now they could get the medical stuff to stay alive and that would result in Mexico and surrounding countries to have a bigger population.
